My journey into medicine has always been driven by a deep love for caring for children. It started when I graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 2002,and was further shaped during my pediatric residency at David Grant Medical Center (DGMC). From the very beginning, I knew that working with children and adolescents would be my lifelong calling.

For 14 years, I proudly served in the United States Air Force, where I earned my board certification in pediatrics. Giving me a combined 20 years of experience as a physician and Board Certified pediatrician. My time in the military wasn’t just about service to my country—it was about developing a profound dedication to the well-being of the children I treated. The values of commitment, care, and excellence that I learned in the Air Force are ones I carry with me every day in my practice.

After my military service, I found a new home in Williamsburg, VA, where I’ve spent six years supporting young adults at William & Mary. Working in college health allowed me to guide adolescents as they navigated a pivotal time in their lives, ensuring they had the healthcare and support they needed to thrive.

On a personal note, I share my life with my wonderful husband, Scott, a fellow U.S. Navy veteran. Our family is my greatest joy—we have four incredible children, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren, with another little one on the way. And of course, our beloved dog, Roxy, the bull puggle, is part of the family too!
In addition to my work as a pediatrician, I’ve been honored to serve as a trustee on the board of the Williamsburg Health Foundation for the past four years. This role allows me to give back to the community that has given so much to me and my family.

Every day, I look forward to continuing to serve the families of Williamsburg, helping to enrich the lives of the children under my care. For me, being a pediatrician isn’t just a profession—it’s a personal commitment to making a lasting impact on the lives of the families I’m so fortunate to work with.
